Now, since weather is a big factor for the amateur astronomer in Ireland,
and also since the existing stations only provide updates every few hours,
I decided to go on and buy/set a small weather station here in South Dublin.
I will have this page displaying real-time weather data and also I'm looking
in having a camera wide-lens taking a shot at the sky every five minutes. Part of this project will be writing a software module to analyse the cloud coverage. Meanwhile, enjoy these two cloud/vapour coverage pictures from Meteosat updated every half an hour or so. |
