Curriculum vitaeInterests
A beautiful, majestic Universe, part of which we merely are, as much as a dust speck in a desert. There is nothing more majestic, overwhelming, then a starry night, the immensity and serenity of our universe.
Learn MoreMachines, now merely an extension of our selves, a tool as such as a "smarter hammer" is. Artificial Intelligence is the key ingredient to adapt to the infinite randomness of a real environment.
Learn MoreComputers and the Internet after the invetion of spoke language, have evolved dramatically in recent years. There is so much I can write about on this subject, after all this is for me both a profession and a hobby.

This project started as an anti-tailgating system, in a first attempt using Intel's Movidius Neural Stick (I/II) with an Odroid XU4, augumented with an external GPS and a custom built LED display cased in a recycled, old ATX power supply.
This tool provides various analysis of the image in 3d with OpenGL. You can create a 3d graph out of your image color, map your image on top of that, 3d FFT map, 3d vigneting map and do 3d color spatial distribution.
This software module handles the integrated control for the telescope and camera. Integration is done both in between various instruments (telescope, camera, focuser, sensors, etc) also with core engine of UniMap software for plate-solving.
This tool will provide you with all the information available localy or online about various sky objects types found in your image: stars, galaxies, nebula, asteroids, satellites, supernovas, comets, exo-planets, etc.Objects info/data is fetched from Centre de Donnees astronomiques de Strasbourg, United States Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station , Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon, The Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia, NASA Orbital Information, NED - NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database.
UniMap software makes use of 34+ different catalogs and surveys for the plate-solving process as well as image tagging and telescope control. The user can choose to use these from either local source or remote location.
Automatic detection and plate solving ploting asteroid orbital calculations at geo-location in a specific time-frame (Susilva).
With the uMouse application and any USB video camera you can now replace the ordinary mouse, keyboard functionality and have hands free computer control.
This is the second robotic arm prototype. It's fully equipped with three touch sensors, one slip sensor, a camera and a microphone. It has ten servo motors, six to control the arm and four to control the gripper. All ten servos are digital with metal/titanium gear. The arm's length, from shoulder to the gripper's centre, it's about 18 inches (52cm) and it can lift up to 1kg.
The gripper it's fully equipped with three touch sensors, one slip sensor, and controller by four servo motors.
The slip sensor is probably the most innovating future of this prototype, built from off shelf components for less than $10. It has under millimetre presision and it works with any kind of material.

whatever bla bla bla
Just random stuff about galaxies etc etc. what else ? nothing much or else …
After reading articles, books and seen many movies on this theme, I see there’re are a lot of people excited about this technology. People who really believe that this is a truly reliable approach to validate human entities for security screening purposes. However, I completely disagree with this and consider biometrics as just a fashion/trend gadget… Read More »Biometrics, a Fashion’s Gadget not the real answer
